Venchi Individual Piece of Chocolate Candy

Venchi Chocolate began a long time ago: in 1878, Italian chocolate-loving 20-year-old Silviano Venchi spent his entire savings on two bronze cauldrons and began to experiment. He first cooked in his apartment, then in a small place on Via degli Artisti in Borgo Vanchiglia, Turin. These experiments were so successful that he eventually was lauded as having “the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont” and appointed as the “Purveyor to the Royal Household."
