Burned Pine Serving Board

The charred wood treatment of these boards pays homage to Japanese yakisugi or shou sugi ban techniques, which not only make wood water-resistant but also help preserve knife sharpness.

Food safe. Hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Dry immediately. 

Oil with a food safe mineral oil or olive oil when it appears dry to bring back the original richness.
