Vintage 1970's Blue and Gold Georges Pelletier Vase XL

Made by hand in France by the master ceramicist, Georges Pelletier. George is one of the most renowned ceramic artists in France and his work is hightly collectible. He started in the 60s selling ceramics in Vallauris and then the Paris Flea Market. From there he was hired to design lamps for Roche Bobois and found much success. In the 70s, he moved to Cannes in the South of France where he made a multitude of ceramics in his workshop until he passed away in 2024, at the age of 85. There is a museum of his work currently being planned for the South of France and his legacy is being carried on by his son Benjamin.
