Antique Bronze Buddha, Burma

This old Buddha is very rare, beautiful and unique! Burma has been under a military junta government and very isolated for many years, with a short window of being open and friendly to tourism and exports. During this time some antiques were able to be exported and this is one of them. The details on this Buddha are stunning! It is,understandably, distressed with traces of paint and inlaid stones that have only gotten more beautiful over time lending to it's old world, artisanal patina. Late 19th century.
