This is a Brooklyn based design studio. Each porcelain piece is handcrafted combining Industrial Design to make a “New Modern” style of functional porcelain in daily life. In the studio, the porcelain clay is made from scratch. Each piece is fired in the kiln to 2250ºF resulting in translucent, food safe and dishwasher safe porcelain tableware.
HANDCRAFTED: Each piece is crafted, fired, and glazed individually, with no two identical pieces
HANDCRAFTED GLAZING: This studio focuses on exploring the glazing on the porcelain surface.
RECYCLED CLAY: This studio recycles their clay scraps, so there is recycled content in every product. The Process is known as slaking.
RECYCLED CLAY FIRING: The porcelain is fired in the kiln to 2250 ºF. All the firing is done in a Brooklyn studio.
