Introducing the Heaven carpet collection, a remarkable display of the traditional craftsmanship of Badohi weavers hailing from the province of Uttar Pradesh.

Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing skies of the New Mexico desert and incorporating the mesmerizing gradations found in Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings, these designs come to life. The woolen threads, akin to paintbrushes, intricately interlace like strokes on a canvas, all thanks to the extraordinary skill of our weavers.

We carefully select natural New Zealand wool for the yarns to ensure a luxuriously soft texture. Through artisans' expert hands, these yarns are hand-spun to achieve the ideal thickness and then meticulously dyed in an exclusive range of colors.

In order to achieve the desired effect of captivating color gradations, three separate yarns are individually dyed and then expertly twisted together. These skilled craftsmen weave these yarns by hand on our horizontal wooden looms in our esteemed Badohi workshop. Each step is carried out with utmost care and precision.

Following the weaving process, the carpets undergo a thorough cleansing using pH-neutral soap, after which they are delicately air-dried. To achieve the desired softness, they are then meticulously hand-brushed. Every detail matters, right down to the edges, which are meticulously mitered by the skilled hands of the family producers' craftsmen.

Through the fusion of these distinctive craft techniques, we not only preserve an ancestral culture but also create rugs that are truly one-of-a-kind. Each carpet in the Heaven collection embodies a unique blend of traditional skills and artistic vision, telling a story that is both timeless and captivating.
